The Cryptolens team has exciting news to share! After testing the new brand name Devolens for some time, we have decided to fully use it as our official brand name.

However, this does not impact you as a Cryptolens user at all, because our beloved product for software license management will still be called Cryptolens, and everything on the product side will remain the same:

• We are still the same team and we have not been acquired or merged.
• The dashboard, your data, and your account will remain exactly the same.
• You, as a customer and user, do not need to take any action.

Same Product and Team, Now Under the Devolens Brand

The only change is that Cryptolens.io, where the front page, about us page, blog posts, and more was located, has moved to Devolens.com. All the old content can still be found on this new site, and the pricing plans have not changed. If you have a Cryptolens.io page bookmarked or saved, it will automatically redirect to the corresponding page on Devolens.com.

The app.cryptolens.io and help.cryptolens.io domains will be kept as they are under the Cryptolens product name. All the technical references to Cryptolens will also stay the same, meaning you do not need to change anything at all in your code or current setup. You can continue to contact the team with the same Cryptolens email address as before.

We changed our name to avoid confusion with cryptocurrencies. Although the "Crypto" in Cryptolens refers to cryptography, most people associated our name with cryptocurrencies, and we believed this harmed visitors' first impressions of our brand. The "Devo" in our new name plays on the word "developer," which we believe better highlights our focus on helping software developers license their software.

We are also working on further improving the Cryptolens product and are looking forward to sharing some more exciting news in the near future!
